TEAM BUILDING

Drumming team building that gets everyone involved

Put a drum in everyone’s hands and watch a room of colleagues become a team. Our facilitated sessions work as a conference opener, a strategy-day reset or the highlight of a company retreat. No musical experience needed, and nobody gets left on the sidelines.

EVENT ENTERTAINMENT

Add the spark to your next event

Drummers, dancers, marimba, fire and LED performers, live music and DJs, mixed to suit your crowd. Whether it’s a product launch, year-end function, gala dinner or wedding, our professional artists set the tone and get guests on their feet.

SCHOOLS & LEARNERS

Learning through rhythm, movement and play

Hands-on drum and dance workshops for primary and high schools, ideal for cultural days, enrichment programmes and special events. Through call-and-response, rhythm and song, learners practise listening, focus and teamwork, and discover African musical traditions along the way.

AFRICAN NIGHT

Immersive African culture and cuisine experience

African food, live music and a drum on every table. As the evening builds, our performers invite guests to join in, turning dinner into a celebration. Popular for tour groups, corporate evenings, birthdays and visiting delegations in Cape Town.

GROUP EXPERIENCES

A shared experience to enjoy together

A private drumming session for friends, family or colleagues: birthdays, bachelorettes, reunions or just a different kind of get-together. Relaxed, fun and guided from the first beat, so everyone can join in.

I loved that you didn’t have to be musical. You could just join in and it worked.

Refiloe Maseko – Conference Delegate

Thank you for the wonderful evening. Our tour group loved the interactive drumming and marimba band

It set a great tone for the rest of the day. People were much more engaged after that.

Grant Williams – Workshop Participant

At the start I was thinking, ‘Please don’t make me dance’, but it wasn’t like that at all. It was easy and very enjoyable.

Helen Murray – Team-building Workshop Participant

The energy in the room changed the second the drums started. It set such a joyful tone for the night.

Emily Oshey – Event Guest

There was a moment where the rhythm locked in and it felt amazing,  like we were all breathing together.

Mark Engleton – Circle Participant

It reminded me why people drum in the first place. It’s simple, but it does something to you.

Trevor Lucas – Team-building Workshop Participant

Why the Kabako method works

Interactive drumming is more than an activity – it’s a high-participation coordination experience that pulls a group into shared attention. Kabako sessions follow a deliberate arc designed to turn that presence into cohesion, energy and a genuine sense of “we”.
